In 2023 Love Castle Donington took over the Santa Sleigh from The Rotary as their Castle Donington branch was closing down.

We managed to raise a whopping £3,750.87 thanks to our wonderful community donating throughout our routes.

Grants were applied for by local groups and below are the groups who received funding from Love Castle Donington;

In April 2024 we held our first ball in aid of raising funds for the local Air Ambulance team.

We had lots of amazing raffle and auction prizes thanks to our sponsors and local businesses. Everyone had a great night, the feedback we've had is fantastic.

The total amount raised will be announced shortly...

In June 2024, we had 2 community hubs. One in Castle Donington and one in Wilson.

These hubs were for residents of the villages to raise any concerns, and to direct Downloaders to where they wanted to be.

In June 2024, we bought back the Open Gardens to Castle Donington.

We had 17 gardens and many attendees who enjoyed this event.

The total raised is yet to be confirmed, however this will be split between the two chosen charities: Vista and our Castle Donington Food Bank.

Love Castle Donington paid for another Tea Dance for our community. The Tea Dance was a huge success again this year and we raised £200 for the Castle Donington branch of The Royal British Legion and our Community First Responders through our ticket sales and raffle.
