In 2023 we took over the Santa's Sleigh from The Rotary in Castle Donington due to them closing this branch down. With the funds raised, we donated these to 16 community groups. Please check out the Grant Forms tab for more information.
The cheque presentation event took place in April 2024.
In April 2024, we had our first ball, during this event, we raised a whopping £3200 for our local Air Ambulance!

Love Castle Donington is a local volunteer group who have been set up to support & showcase all of the local events in our wonderful village, as well as create some of our own events along the way!
Originating from a Parish Council need for support to ensure our local events continued, the group has grown since 2022 and now has its own constitution & agenda.
We are growing our remit to provide events for our local community such as spring balls to raise funds, local tea dances (using those funds) and we are looking at more events such as an open-air cinema for 2024. Watch this space, or even better, get involved and help us create all of this!
We continue to support local events from the Parish Council as well as any independent local events, by sharing and promoting on our Facebook as well as having a wonderful bank of volunteers who give time to local causes.
